JSOUTHBRIDGE-- Jeffery A. McKinstry, 49, of Ridge

Road, died Wednesday, May 16, in Harrington Memorial

Hospice after being stricken ill.

He leaves his wife of 26 years, Joanne (Thibert)

McKinstry; a son, Cory McKinstry of Southbridge; a

daughter, Alyssa McKinstry of Southbridge; his mother,

Esther (Butterworth) McKinstry of Southbridge; a brother,

Daniel McKinstry of Southbridge; several nephews and

nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of George

McKinstry, and graduated from Southbridge High School in

1969. He attended Bridgeport University.

Mr. McKinstry was a licensed optician, and worked for

Lens Crafters in Worcester. He previously worked at

American Optical. He was a member of Elm Street

Congregational Church and the Heritage Country Club

Golf League.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 21, in

Elm Street Congregational Church, Elm and Park streets.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours are

from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 20, in Belanger-Bullard
