The Mary E. Wells High School Alumni Reunion Committee 2000 has donated $2,000 to the Jacob Edwards Library to research and preserve the history of Mary E. Wells High School.They have also donated $2,000 to the Mary E. Wells Junior High School Library and $2,000 to the Southbridge High School Library to be used by the librarians to update material.
Helen
Santilli is working with the Southbridge School Department and Executive
Director, Harry Williams and Adult Services Librarian, Margaret
Morrissey at the town library to research and preserve the history
of the former high school.
We
are looking for yearbooks dated 1917 through 1961.If
anyone would like to donate these yearbooks, please forward to Jacob
Edwards Library in Southbridge, Massachusetts.
All
material collected will be available for viewing in the History Room at
the Jacob Edwards Library.
