Dredging the AO Pond
In July of 1978, the River was dammed such that the AO Pond dried up. So much sediment had settled downstream in this pond, that truckload after truckload of dirt was hauled from the pond and trucked over to the old tennis court area (now on Schott Fiber Optics Property). Here are some of the photos I took at the time.
