It is not often that I solicit others to support a charitable cause, as I know that there are many choices that are most worthy for consideration. Just like you, I am constantly bombarded with appeals for donations, and have to admit that more often that not, these requests end up in the trash! When giving to a charitable cause, I do not want to see the money given simply to sustain the overhead of the organization, but rather I want to know what I am giving actually makes a difference to the people in need.
In the case of the Capital Campaign for RRI, which is my appeal to you today, I am convinced that is indeed worth your consideration for donation. In the case of RRI, only 8 % of the dollars spent go toward administrative costs, which is an admirably low overhead for any agency or business.
You might ask, why should I give money toward constructing a new training and support center for RRI? The answer is that I do not see this as simply a building, but much more. I have volunteered for seven years as a Board member for RRI, because I have seen the important services that they supply to those in need. This agency has greatly expanded its services in recent years, and provides many levels of support to those in need. In recent years they have expanded their services to include training programs in Medication Certification, Alcohol Abuse Prevention, and Transportation. RRI is now at a point where the need for expansion is so great that it is a necessity, should they wish to continue upgrading and expanding their services.
I would be happy to discuss in greater detail suggested giving options,
should you or your business wish to give in an amount where permanent recogntion
(brick, plaque, etc) is an option . Please consider donating to the RRI
Capital Campaign fund. However large or small, your contribution will be
most appreciated. Feel free to contact me and thanks in advance for
your support.
Best Regards,
