Thats me in 1966 at what was the 5th Tee (trying to make the top of the hill!)
Shown below was a map of the golf course that I drew; the golf pro shop was the old building that was accessed by the road next to the cemetary. 
During that period, Dad and I golfed 2-3 times a week and were members for several years.

The photo below was taken of me at the Dudley Driving range (now a shopping plaza) i n 1956. It was located ~1/2 mile from Nichols golf course.
I believe this is the first of me with a golf club.
