AO Reunion Crowd photo - Village Photo
On May 28th, 2002 there was be a Reunion
gathering for the many who have been associated with American
Optical. People from around the Country and from Europe
gathered at the Hotel, which is the former site of the
American Optical Main Plant in Southbridge, Ma. This building
has just been renovated and is now a Hotel and Conference
center. The Reunion was open to the public, and past employees
from a variety of AO fields attended. The fields
represented include Ophthtalmics, Safety eyewear, Fiber
Optics, Frames, Instruments, R&D, Todd AO, etc.
AO Reunion members begin to gather for large group photo on
left. At Right, Judy Furgeson bravely perched on lift to take
the photo, as Franklin Realty staff assist below.
Thanks to Judy, Ron and Crew for a great job.
Paul Zotos from Cable Access interviews me about the day, while
group gathering can be seen in reflection on the Hotel lobby
window.
